Experience

I have 17 years' HR experience, with over half those years spent in the voluntary and community sector.  I am also a trustee with a national charity and an active volunteer in a number of different areas.

Qualifications

As well as a first degree, I have held the diploma in Personnel Management (MCIPD) since 1995 and am qualified to use Myers Briggs Type Indicator (psychometric testing). 

Knowledge and Skills

Due to my experience of working as part of the Senior Management Team in a national charity, followed by more than 7 years as an HR Consultant to the sector, I have indepth knowledge of the sector and its wide variety of organisations.  My skills lie in providing practical advice, with the emphasis on risk minimisation, making the most of people, and ensuring effective use of management time.
